Art and nudity have always been closely related, so it would seem perfectly logical for naturists to take up art in its various forms and turn it into a none-too-serious pastime. Here we let our friends indulge their artistic inspirations quite freely, as they create naturist-family works of art, and then try some painting using only their feet as brushes. Quite inspiring really.
We celebrate the youthful birthdays of Dasha and Sahatsawat, with Dasha becoming a butterfly Princess and a watermelon becoming a stand-in cake! Some crab hunting in the rocks, then our grand finale: continuing our PLANETS project, Mars, the God of War, brings war and destruction to the planet Earth, before Venus, Goddess of love, intervenes and helps bring peace to the people. A dramatic end to a wonderful work that really shows us a lot of Naked Art – unlimited. 60 mins.

Tableau Vivant of The Delirium Constructions – Skylight One Hanson, 2011 (nudism-naturism performance)
Two years in the making, on May 23rd and 24th of 2011, Sarah Small and collaborators mounted a 120-participant Tableau at the former Williamsburg Savings Bank, now known as Skylight One Hanson. Chosen as one of Time Out New York’s Top Critic’s Picks, and listed in the New York Times, Flavorpill and more, this performance had the attention of many, long before the cast took the stage. Maintaining it’s roots in her still photography series, The Delirium Constructions, and already the most ambitious project of her career, in 2011, for the first time, Small explored, within the Tableau Vivant, a specific social phenomenon: the ritual of marriage. With its airs of pageantry and religious rectitude, wedding ceremonies celebrate the most intimate joining of two individuals in the most public sphere, providing rich fodder for examination within the project’s framework. On the evenings of May 23rd and 24th, Small acted as the legal officiant for three couples (two weddings and a vow renewal ceremony), as she simultaneously directed the attendant Tableau Vivant cast in their own explorations of the theme, mingling performance art with reality in a compelling cocktail.
Small and collaborators received a stellar review from The New York Times and were featured on both the front and back covers of the Sunday Art section of the The Washington Post. Among many others, the event had press in attendance from both local and international media, including Italy’s Virgin TV.

Crimea for naturists – family nudists in the Crimea
The sun is calling, the sea is beckoning, liberty is our only dream, and so we return this summer to our old haunt, Fox Bay, home to so many of our past adventures and dreams. In this first chapter, our friends have some great fun on the beach with a couple of large plastic shells, painted to look real, and, with apologies to Botticelli, we enact our own version of the birth of Venus. Then the volcanic mountains become our gateway to total liberty: in the forests and in our hearts, liberty, we call your name. And this summer, Pavlik, our very old friend, has rejoined us, now an athletic young man with a keen eye for photography. Other friends come as well, and we live out our very own Alpine Symphony, with amazing landscapes and beautiful naked freedom. Here then is the record of a fabulous trek across our Liberty Mountain.
